The Project Manager will be responsible for the on time and within budget delivery of WEI's Material Handling Systems.
These systems can contain semi-automated to fully automated storage, order fulfillment and conveyor systems.
Specifically these responsibilities include:
- Scheduling the work so that project schedules are maintained.
- As liaison between WEi and the client, facilitates open interaction, coordination and communication with client engineering and WEi engineering to ensure adherence to design criteria and smooth implementation.
- Coordinating and expediting as required the delivery of material and the execution of the work as planned by material suppliers, subcontractors, union and non-union installation crews.
- Additionally, the Project Manager will be expected to answer, or get the answer, for design issues or engineering questions that come up during the prosecution of the work.
- On-site project management also includes inventory and quality control, enforcement of job safety, and weekly progress reports.
- Cost Tracking and processing of approved Change Orders.
Qualifications:
The Candidate should be a graduate with a Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- 3-5 years experience in the material handling industry.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of current budgeting and scheduling techniques and tools.
