STRUCTURAL ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER (Chino, CA)
Qualifications Include:
- Must possess a minimum 4-year degree in an engineering discipline.
- Must have 2 or more years experience designing mezzanines and structures.
- Working knowledge of AutoCad 2000 or later.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project
- Must have 2 or more years project management or project engineering experience
- Two or more years experience in the
material handling industry is preferred but not required
Responsibilities Include:
- Design of steel structures, mezzanines, and various types of storage rack.
- Support in-house sales staff with material handling projects including involvement in the layout, design,
and installation of structural and mechanical systems.
- Prepare all documents for bidding to sub-contractors. Analyze quotes, prepare bid
summaries and make recommendations for awarding contracts.
- Preparing vendor orders
- Tracking vendor orders
- Preparation of installation documentation
- Coordinate installation and material deliveries
- Keeping customer and sales person informed of project status
- Obtaining all pertinent documents for accounting job file
- Oversee the financial progress of each project
- Document all change orders
- Audit job costs
The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational skills, the
ability to multi-task, work independently, good problem solving skills,
and extensive experience using MS Office Suite.

CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
The Civil/Structural Engineering position carries
a full range of Design/Build engineering responsibilities. In this
capacity the civil engineer is responsible for the design engineering,
scheduling and project management. During the project management phase,
the engineer secures all necessary permits, manages subcontractors,
prepares project budgets and travels to the jobsite to supply site
coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Design rack, mezzanine and equipment support structures.
- Perform all structural analyses, provide required calculations and prepare necessary submittals to satisfy industry codes and local building codes.
- Develop material takeoffs and bills of material for proposals and orders.
- Responsible for the preparation, review and coordination of the proposal, approval and installation drawings.
- Communicate with both internal and client design/engineering team members from conceptual design through the implementation phase of the project.
- Provide technical support to Sales Account
Managers.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Excellent technical and communication skills are desirable.
- AutoCAD experience helpful.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The Mechanical Engineering position carries a full range of Design/Build responsibilities throughout the life of a project including (1) the design phase working with internal and client engineering teams, (2) through installation and project management, (3) to commissioning and maintaining the system.
These Turnkey Systems are customer specific and increasingly sophisticated requiring a high level of engineering at every stage of the project.
Specifically, Mechanical Engineering will include work on these systems:
- Conveyor systems.
- Various automated and semi-automated material handling systems
- Constantly evolving client requirements, which in turn, require the development of new designs, which are engineered and prototyped.
- Solutions are typically the result of creative
problem solving coupled with practical hands-on skills.
Required Qualifications:
This is a highly interactive design process and excellent technical and communication skills are required.
Must have the ability to design and manage complex and fast moving projects.
Must be hands-on and have the drive to see projects through to their successful completion.
Some travel is required.
The design tool used is AutoCAD 2000

(2) through installation and project management,
(3) to commissioning and maintaining the system.
These Turnkey Systems are customer specific and increasingly sophisticated requiring a high level of engineering at every stage of the project.
Specifically, the types of electrical engineering will include the following for the conveyor and automated material handling equipment that are incorporated in our systems:
- Design of the overall system controls working closely with mechanical engineering.
- Preparation of the description of the System's Sequence of Operation.
- Preparation of the system's schematics and design of the electrical control panels.
- Design of the system's Power Distribution.
- PLC programming.
The electrical engineer, as a member of the project team, works with the mechanical engineers, project manager and client lead personnel to develop and implement a system design that meets the customer operational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Coordination between vendors, subcontractors and client teams
- Schedule and cost tracking
- Communications with mechanical engineering team
members
The Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
Additionally, they should have 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming, preferably in the design of material handling systems.
Good communication skills are very important.
This is a full time position requiring some travel.
